At 19 years old, Luke Chivers began eating – and then starving – himself to death. Bulimia had trapped him in an endless cycle of binging and purging. Nowadays Luke, 25, is a communications manager, sharing local stories of on-farm innovation with news media across New Zealand. He is an engaging speaker and, in his spare time, is telling his story with the hope of breaking the stigma around eating disorders, especially among men.
